Starburst Free Demo & Review
Starburst is NetEnt’s stripped-back neon slot, available to try in demo mode before playing at Ontario casinos that operate under the iGO and AGCO framework. The game uses a 5-reel, 3-row layout with 10 fixed paylines, wins paying both ways, expanding Starburst Wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4, and respins when those wilds land. We use the conservative published RTP floor of 90.05%, low volatility, a C$0.10–C$100 local-equivalent bet range, and a 500x conservative max-win figure because published max-win figures vary by source.

Who Should Play Starburst
01
Starburst pays both left-to-right and right-to-left on the same 10 fixed paylines.
02
The Starburst Wild only appears on the three middle reels, which keeps the feature focused on reels 2, 3, and 4.
03
There is no bonus buy in classic Starburst, so the respin feature must come from the wild mechanic during normal play.
04
Expanded wilds stay locked for the respin sequence and can combine with both-ways paylines for extra line connections.

How to Play Starburst
Set the coin value
Choose your coin value and bet level before each spin. Starburst uses 10 fixed bet lines, with the total stake built from the coin value, the active fixed lines, and the selected bet level.
Spin the 10 lines
Each round plays on a 5x3 reel set with 10 fixed paylines. Matching symbols pay in succession from the left side or the right side, and only the highest win on a line is paid when both directions connect.
Land the Starburst Wild
The main feature starts when a Starburst Wild appears on reel 2, 3, or 4. That wild expands to cover the full reel and triggers a respin; additional Starburst Wilds during the feature can add more respins, up to the game’s stated cap of three.
Collect line wins
Wins are paid from the paytable after the spin or respin sequence finishes. Expanded wild reels substitute for regular paying symbols, then the final payout is added to the balance at the same stake used to start the round.
