Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data MaxSpinz collects, why, how we use it, how long we keep it, and your rights. It applies to all data collected through maxspinz.com and any tools or services. MaxSpinz Media Inc. is the data controller, and we comply with PIPEDA (the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and applicable Ontario privacy law.

What Data We Collect
Data you provide directly — when you use the contact form or email us: your name (if provided), your email, and the content of your message. No account is required to use any tool or content, so no registration data is collected through the site itself.
Data collected automatically — standard server/analytics data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited and time on each, referring URL, and device type. Collected in aggregate, not used to identify individuals.
Cookie data — session, preference, analytics and affiliate tracking data, as described in the cookie policy.
Why We Collect It
Contact data is used to respond to your message and process corrections or suggestions — not for marketing, not shared with third parties. Automatically-collected data measures performance, understands behaviour in aggregate, identifies technical issues, and improves content and tools — not used to build individual profiles or for targeted advertising. Cookie data is used for the purposes in each cookie category. Affiliate tracking data attributes commissions when readers visit operators, identifying the referral source for that purpose; it’s shared with the affiliate platform and operator to process the commission and includes no personal data beyond session identifiers.
How Long We Keep It
Contact data is kept as long as needed to resolve the matter and a reasonable period after, then deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregate; individual session data isn’t kept beyond the analytics platform’s standard retention. Cookie retention is set per category (see the cookie policy). We don’t retain personal data beyond the period necessary for its purpose.
Who We Share Data With
MaxSpinz does not sell personal data or share it for marketing. Data is shared only with: analytics providers (aggregated, anonymised usage data); affiliate tracking platforms (session identifiers and referral data, limited to what’s needed for attribution); operators (referral attribution data when you visit and create an account — we don’t share contact or email data with operators); and legal requirements (where required by law, court order or regulator, with notice where legally permitted).
Your Rights Under PIPEDA
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correction of inaccurate data, to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based (without affecting prior lawful processing), and to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca. To exercise any right, use the contact page or email editorial@maxspinz.com; we respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.
Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data — secure HTTPS across the site, access controls on contact data and correspondence, and regular review of third-party processors. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps.
Minors
MaxSpinz is a 19+ resource and isn’t directed at anyone under 19. We don’t knowingly collect data from minors, and any such data found is deleted promptly. If you believe a minor has submitted data, notify us through the contact page.
Changes and Contact
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in how we collect or use data, or in applicable law; the last-updated date reflects the most recent revision, with significant changes notified on the site.
